Jennifer Lavenhar
Director of Sales and Marketing
(She/Her)
Jennifer’s Dr. Jekyll is a sales, marketing, and development professional. She has raised money and produced events for The Roundabout Theatre, Human Rights Watch, and Columbia University, as well as sponsorship funding for industry events ranging from structured finance to travel technology to leadership summits. She is currently Director of Sales and Marketing for Koppett and The Mopco Improv Theatre.
Jennifer’s Madame Hyde is a professional dancer, actor, ballet teacher, dancing clown, and improviser. She has been a member of the Mop and Bucket Company since 2018.
Jen’s improv studies began under the mentorship of Nancy Ponder, a founding member of Chicago’s Compass Players. Jennifer was a founding member of Nancy’s NYC improv group, Without Annette. She is also co-creator of Pilates for Infidels and Spontaneous Twilight Zone, performing at festivals around the Northeast.
Jennifer loves learning, teaching, and performing at The Mopco. When not performing on stage, teaching in a dance studio, or developing new business to share the recuperative power of improv with the world, she is improvising the role of Mom with her 2 sons at home in Rhinebeck, NY. Jen looks forward to more travel to meet, study and play with her new improv friends from around the globe whom she met during the lockdown of 2020.
